Just a little fun to kick off Eyeo Festival 2018.
We got cozy and inspired by some old Peanuts animations to create this holiday card for University of New England that features the paper-craft likeness of their president.
Can Can Wonderland is our favorite and first arts-based public benefit corporation in MN. Plus its a great place for a boozy milkshake and some pinball.
Putt putt your butt butt off and see how all their artist-designed mini-golf holes came to be through this documentary series.
For many years, we've collaborated with composer Mark Mallman to produce the opening night title sequence for the eyeo festival. It's been a tremendous joy to create highly original, hand-made animations that kick of each year to a live crowd here in Minneapolis.
Various animation techniques include stop motion + motion tracking of real world objects like dangling paper cubes or floating ping pong balls. We've also incorporated overhead projectors, clay, yarn and even racket balls.
Bard College at Simon's Rock is the incredibly acclaimed and highly rated college for students as young as 16. The college approached us to create videos and animated gifs for their email campaign. We had a ton of fun creating and animating students, campus landmarks and of course, llamas.

We designed and produced this explainer video for Deluxe’s Short and Tweet grant program.
We've created multiple hand-made paper cutouts videos to help the Knight Foundation announce their various challenges including the Knight News Challenge, Knight Cities Challenge and Knight Community Information Lab.

In conjunction with our friends The Perennial Plate and Intrepid Travel, this film was edited with footage filmed over 12 countries in 14 months. We've never had the pleasure to work with clips so beautiful and so worldly. This was a very exciting project for us to lend a post-production-hand to!

We are part of a 5 artist collective called Screen Printing on the Cheap (SPOTC). We self published a book cleverly titled "Screen Printing: On the Cheap." Squawk created all the video content for the project.
As educated artists, we have been conditioned to rely on making art in facilities we simply cannot afford. Screen Printing on the Cheap demonstrates a “new school” of screen printing and makes the process more accessible to the community. In turn, screen printing makes their creative work more accessible to the masses.
This do-it-yourself book project instructs how to screen print out of your living space and design a semiprofessional shop with a modest budget. By utilizing cumulative knowledge from industry professionals, artists and entrepreneurs throughout Minneapolis, we have created the most comprehensive how-to book about screen printing at home.
